Lifts over 8,000 lbs and carries a high-volume 2.1 cubic yard snow bucket. With more than 10 feet of lift height, it piles snow high after the biggest storms.

Questions about snow removal at Big White
How much does snow removal cost at Big White?
We bill by the hour, and machine rates include fuel and the operator. The loader and the skid steer are $165 per hour each, the high-flow snow blower is $240 per hour with a flagger, hand shovelling is $52 per hour and ice removal is $68 per hour. Sanding is priced by lot size with a $50 minimum. All prices are before GST.
Do you clear commercial properties too?
Yes. We clear commercial and residential driveways around the mountain with our John Deere loader and skid steer.
What if my property is running out of room to pile snow?
That is what the high-flow snow blower is for. It throws snow 60 to 70 feet at high volume, so we can spread out big piles and free up storage space on tight lots.
Can you clear walkways and stairs, not just the driveway?
Yes. Our ground crew hand shovels walkways and stairs, removes ice build-up and sands icy spots. On request we can also install wooden stairs into the snow so people can get in and out safely.
